my model is here tomorrow and next day so just doing some mental preparaion -
this is a rough charcoal - my finger ends are vanishing as I work the charcoal on the gritty surface - oh to suffer for ones art etc etc etc

thanks - the best girls I have had have been those going to loval dance classes- the best are used to performing and like this girl have a natural elegance -
so start your search there!

Thanks for the advice!

How did you ask her to model for you?

I know some local dance classes; but mostly they're for school students, and it's very difficult to ask younger people to model nowadays. I assume she sits for you alone and not in a class of several?

Most of my models are hired for experience by the School of Art.. I need more than photo references for variety :S
